NYE sermon

[00:00:00] Welcome to the Wounds of the Faithful podcast, brought to you by DSW Ministries. Your host is singer, songwriter, speaker, and domestic violence advocate, Diana Winkler. She is passionate about helping survivors in the church heal from domestic violence and abuse and trauma. This podcast is not a substitute for professional counseling or qualified medical help.

[00:00:26] Now, here is Diana.

[00:00:33] Happy New Year, everyone. This is a time for new beginnings. Actually, every day is a new day. Today will be a solo episode. We’ve had some great guests this year. I have cut down on the details of my personal life before or during the guest episodes, but today I thought I’d update you on what has happened this year, my [00:01:00] thoughts on some current events.

[00:01:02] And about future plans for the podcast this year. Well, this episode is for my regular listeners. If you are new here, you are welcome to stay. Uh, just know that I’m going to be talking a lot about my personal stuff. Uh, if you’re not interested in my personal updates, then you can tune in. Then you can tune in to my guest episode tomorrow with Kenny Sackt.

[00:01:30] Hopefully you’re, hopefully you regulars want to stick around because you care about me as a person and want to hear some of my, uh, news.

[00:01:43] So first I’ll start off with some of the plans for the podcast

[00:01:49] so I thought there were a bunch of new people listening to the podcast since last year. Maybe you don’t know what I’m about or what my [00:02:00] goals are for the podcast, so I’m gonna review those things today. This is my fifth year podcasting. I can’t believe that I made it this far. Now, I started the podcast after Mending the Soul group that ended during the pandemic.

[00:02:21] They needed more resources for healing after the group ended. So if you’re new here and you don’t know what Mending the Soul is, it is a healing group for domestic violence and abuse survivors that I lead. It’s about 16 weeks long. Now, if you want more info on that, go to MendingTheSoul. org. The founder, Steven Tracy has been on the podcast three times.

[00:02:53] So go and listen to his interviews. He is my favorite guest [00:03:00] ever. Anyway, I started the podcast because I already have a studio. I already have the equipment and I have plenty of contacts to get guests. I like talking and I’ve learned a lot. And I enjoyed, meeting people and helping men and women heal from abuse.

[00:03:23] My audience is a mixed audience of men and women. I’m one of the few podcasts that have that. I find that there are not a lot of resources for men out there that are survivors. So a little bit about me. Me and my backstory. I’m a former Independent Fundamental Baptist missionary from a cult like environment.

[00:03:51] It’s an evangelical denomination. I left in 2008 an abusive ex husband [00:04:00] and the denomination along with it. Now I have told my whole story in a long form on the podcast, so go back and listen to that. The series is called My Story, and it has been a hard journey of healing from that. Now, I’ve come a long way, but there are still some days that are triggering.

[00:04:24] Now, I’ve experienced those this year. I have managed to keep my faith in the process of my healing, although my relationship with God is very different than what it was. It’s better, actually, and that’s what I want for you. So more about me is that I’m also a musician. Since my youth, I write and sing songs about abuse and healing.

[00:04:56] Some of my music is on my website and my YouTube [00:05:00] channel. My husband is also a musician, a drummer, and a singer, but he is on a disability from some health issues. and he has not been able to play for a few years. So, the music has not been on the forefront right now. I am the only one working, uh, and I work 10 hour days.

[00:05:27] So, I keep a very brutal schedule right now. With the podcast and Mending the Soul taking up most of my spare time, not to mention my garden, but maybe this year I will carve out some time to record. Now one of my goals here is building community this year. I’d like to build community with our new Facebook group.

[00:05:57] It’s called the Wounds of the Faithful Private [00:06:00] Group. I am trying to build a community there. Thank you to those who have already joined. So please join us. It’s a place just to get to know each other. We might do some Zoom meetups. Um, I think I’m going to start doing Q& A sessions, maybe some private concerts.

[00:06:22] If you don’t like Facebook, please tell me what platform you prefer. So I could start one there. I’m trying to. Meet you where you are and where you like to hang out. So, you know, doing this for five years, it’s time to interact more with you guys. I’d like to know who my listeners are. So, what is the mission of my podcast?

[00:06:51] And for those that have been listening a long time, I think you are very familiar with my mission and my [00:07:00] purpose. This is primarily a Christian podcast to help believers to heal from domestic violence, abuse, and trauma. It is for those who are struggling with their faith while they’re trying to heal from abuse.

[00:07:19] My goal is to help you discover who the real Jesus is. There are plenty of podcasts out there if you want to throw God away and become an atheist. I am not that podcast. You can come here struggling with your beliefs wherever you are, have questions, and try and sort out some things. Let’s do that together.

[00:07:49] So on my show, I have survivor stories, I have industry experts on my show. I have done trauma informed Bible studies for [00:08:00] you. I am thinking of rebranding my intro on the podcast with my specific mission. I might change the music, probably compose some new music for the intro. I just have to carve out some time for that.

[00:08:20] But maybe, I will end today with a song for you. I have one in mind. Well, we had a great year with some splendid guests. Now, I did start doing the posting of the podcast every other week. Because of my schedule, trying to keep my sanity, I will keep doing that, if you’re okay with it. It seems to help me balance some things better. My favorite guests this year were, let’s see, Christian Ninja, Al Deschaneaux. [00:09:00] And my best friend, Kelly Hall. And I also did a series on Job that I really enjoyed doing. I plan on doing more trauma informed Bible studies.

[00:09:13] If you have a book or a passage you want me to do on the podcast, please let me know. Tomorrow we’ll start the new year with Kenny Sackt. He is fantastic. He is saving girls from sex trafficking in the Philippines. So I also have a great guest lineup to interview this year. One of the things I would like to do is do a series on cults specifically.

[00:09:43] Steven Hassan would be a dream guest. I listened to his podcast regularly. He is probably the foremost authority on recovering from cults. I’m going to be brave and [00:10:00] ask him to be on my show. So we’ll see what happens. And I might change the format a little bit this year.

[00:10:10] We’ll see. Nothing huge. I’m going to experiment with it. So I’d like to play more music on the podcast at the end for you. so today I planned on breaking my own rule. I never talk about politics or current events on the podcast. But I’m going to do that today. I’m going to go off on a political rant.

[00:10:35] Please don’t cancel me! Instead, have a respectful conversation with me if you disagree. But I will be doing that at the end of the podcast. So if you want to hang out with me. up till that point, you can hear the rest of the episode and you can sign off. I will give you a cue.

[00:10:55] But you know, this is pretty rare for me to speak out on [00:11:00] things. And so if you’re morbidly curious about what I’m going to say, um, stick around. I appreciate you guys. So, on a more personal note, some things that happened this year. Uh, have you started your New Year’s resolutions? Have you created some of your goals?

[00:11:22] Now, I don’t usually make New Year’s resolutions. When I want to change something, I change it right away. That’s just me. After I got cleared for exercising again after my foot surgeries, I wanted to make up for lost time because I hadn’t been exercising in over a year. So, I have my workout room with my weights and my resistance bands.

[00:11:48] I need to lose about 30 pounds. Now, I don’t have any body image issues. It’s just that diabetes runs on both sides of my [00:12:00] family. I have to be very careful with my weight and my diet. I started running after getting new running shoes and custom orthotics. I bought a new treadmill. I absolutely love it.

[00:12:12] I never thought that I would be a runner. I’m on that thing three days a week, running as fast as I can, and I’m doing sprinting. I don’t do long distance runs. Per the advice of my foot surgeon. Oh boy, that runner’s high. That is real. I feel fantastic when I’m done. The blood coursing through my veins.

[00:12:39] Oh my goodness. My cardio is so much better. I feel energetic and strong. I haven’t seen the scale move much, but I can feel those muscles coming in. I actually went down a pant size. No kidding. I was taking in like 12 [00:13:00] pairs of pants because I had to wear a belt with them.

[00:13:04] I got tired of the belt. And I thought, this is ridiculous. I’m just going to go buy a new pair of pants. So that’s what I did. And it’s wonderful. The most exciting thing that, uh, has happened is I got my labs done recently, through my primary care doctor.

[00:13:24] I’ve always had high cholesterol my whole life and no matter what type of diet I have been on, it did not reduce my cholesterol. I’ve tried them all, the keto, the vegetarian. I’m, I’m currently on, Mediterranean, which I’m going to stick with. Anyway, my, my doctor was going to put me on cholesterol lowering drugs and, they said I was pre diabetic.

[00:13:52] Well, I didn’t want to go on any of those drugs, but after running for, let’s see, I’ve been running on the new [00:14:00] treadmill four months, my cholesterol levels and blood sugar, Went way down. I could not believe it. It has never been that low. So I don’t have to go any new medications. I am encouraged just to keep going at this point.

[00:14:17] I do lift weights on the other two days and I do my yard work on Saturday. So I mention this because that’s what people do. New Years is they start a new diet, start a new program at the gym. So I encourage you if you’re trying to improve your health, so if you’re trying to improve your health, just keep trying different things that work for you.

[00:14:46] Be consistent. Don’t give up. You’re going to see small progressions. It’s not going to be fast weight loss or fast fitness, you’re going to have to be consistent at it, [00:15:00] but I think you’ll see, some kind of progress like I have if you just keep at it. Hmm, what else happened this year? Okay, I’m going to talk about our first vacation since 2019, because this was a big deal.

[00:15:16] We went to San Antonio for a sci fi convention, and that’s a bucket list kind of a thing, and we drove our truck instead of flying, and we saw some things along the way that Brian has never seen. The Painted Desert, we went to Roswell, New Mexico, we went to Santa Fe, we went to Carlsbad Caverns, we visited the Alamo.

[00:15:40] Unfortunately, 20 minutes outside of San Antonio, we hit a deer with our truck. Yeah, this was 8. 30 at night. The airbags went off. Uh, We totaled the car. Couldn’t see or breathe with that explosion of [00:16:00] powder. I don’t know if you’ve ever been in a major car accident where the airbags went off, but that was the first time for Brian and myself.

[00:16:13] Neither of us were hurt, thank God. And we didn’t hit anybody else. Nobody else hit us. Um, but that did put a huge shadow over our vacation. Brian was pretty upset about losing his truck. We had to leave it in Texas. So we’re trying to deal with getting a rental and cleaning out the truck. And then we’re trying to be on time for the sci fi convention because we paid a lot of money, saved up a long time for this convention.

[00:16:48] And, the first day we had A photo op with William Shatner, uh, he is 93, uh, yeah, it was funny, [00:17:00] we, we barely made it in, to get into line for our photo op, and the lady taking our ticket said to our group, do not touch Mr. Shatner, he will scream, oh, okay. I guess he’s been, you know, accosted by, uh, Trekkies for many, many years and he’s tired of it.

[00:17:21] So, yeah, we stood next to his chair. There was tape on the floor where we were supposed to stand and we got our picture and left. We did manage to have a good time despite the accident. The Sci Fi convention was really, really fun. The insurance company and the rental company were really good to us.

[00:17:44] The state troopers that helped us during the accident were super nice. By the way, and so were the tow truck drivers. Now we didn’t spend as much money on stuff as usual because [00:18:00] now we had to buy a new car. Oh, I guess God already knew that we like to spend money on sci fi stuff. Uh, we drove home in a Ford Expedition, which was a sweet ride.

[00:18:16] Uh, we started looking for a vehicle when we got home, because although we thought about just keeping one car between the two of us, he has too many doctor’s appointments and I work too far away from home for that, to even work.

[00:18:35] So now we have a car payment and a higher insurance payment that we did not plan for, but we did get a fair check from the insurance company and we had enough for a good down payment on a used car. So SUV, which he really loves.

[00:18:58] God was so good to [00:19:00] us. So that is done and over with. I mentioned the cat t shirt that I got for Brian for Christmas. So I am also a cat mom. Some of you know that last year Mama Cat had three girl kittens on our back porch. So now the girls are a year old. And surprise, this year another Mama Cat brought her three boy kittens.

[00:19:30] to our back porch for the food because they found out that the girls were eating. And then we’ve had, Meowie, a white Siamese. She’s seven years old, and we’ve had her for a few years. A neighbor had abandoned her when they moved, so we started feeding her, and now she lives on our front porch.

[00:19:54] She has her own little house and, and everything. So there is one [00:20:00] father cat to both of the, litters. so if you’re counting along with us, that’s nine cats. Well, we lost one of the girls to, I think, a hawk, we believe. The girl’s mama disappeared after they were weaned. We have no idea what happened to her.

[00:20:20] And then we lost one of the boys to a hawk as well. Yes, that is dreadful. I wish we could say, Oh, well, some kind soul, you know, adopted, these kittens, but, the hawks have been sitting on the light fixtures in our neighborhood. And, um, screeching. So unfortunately I think that the kittens were a meal for those hawks.

[00:20:51] Now you’re thinking nine cats. Yes, we did get them all fixed. Every one of them. So we have [00:21:00] left two girls, two boys, mama, papa, and meowy, seven cats to feed. And they’re all outside because Brian is allergic to cats. We did have Meowie in one of the bedrooms during the summer because she is old and she was a house cat at one time.

[00:21:21] She knew how to use a litter box. So, we would let her out at night, when it was cooler out. But once, fall came, then she is outside full time again. She actually loves the cold. the cats on the back porch, they have a cat tower and huge boxes with blankets to sleep in. And it’s funny that Brian never liked cats, neither of us grew up with cats, we are dog people.

[00:21:54] But he has cultivated a special relationship with three of them. We call him the [00:22:00] Cat Whisperer now. They sit on his lap for cuddling. Yes, I know, I said he’s allergic to cats. Yes, he is. Well, those cute, fluffy, adorable cats won his heart. He has definitely been stuffed up and wheezing from the cat hair, and he won’t go to the allergist to get something to help him, but he does have a specific, uh, set of clothes that he wears just to go outside and, be with the cats.

[00:22:32] But it has been really great for his mental health to be taking care of these cats. So it’s been enjoyable having them around. they’re very funny and, um, I like seeing their antics. We get them cat toys to play with and they play with us. So, as far as job goes that I mentioned, I still have the same job in healthcare [00:23:00] and I still love it.

[00:23:01] I have been trying to get transferred closer to home, but that hasn’t worked out yet. Uh, we do get a four percent raise this year, so that’s a blessing, but I still have an hour commute each way to work. I have done 12 interviews in two years, but, no offers to transfer to something closer to home. So that’s something you could pray for me about.

[00:23:34] and also if you have any prayer requests, please let me know as well. So here’s where I’m going to start my long overdue rant. It may also sound like a sermonette. So, if you don’t want to listen, now’s your chance to go. We will see you tomorrow. For those that are morbidly curious, [00:24:00] stay with me here.

[00:24:01] You’re thinking, Diana, why start talking about it now? I have, you’ve never done this before. Well, this year has been such a dumpster fire. I have I decided I have a podcast and a medium to talk about my thoughts and feelings. So, that’s what I’m going to do, but I’m only going to do it this week only, uh, because this is not the scope of the podcast, politics.

[00:24:32] And you say, what does politics have to do with abuse, Diana? Well, a lot actually. I have been seeing some appalling behavior from Christians on social media and in person. It got so bad this year. There was a war within my own family over an election. Twitter [00:25:00] X is a cesspool of garbage. Social media is filled with misinformation to begin with.

[00:25:08] Don’t even get me started on medical misinformation. You know, work for a research hospital. So, yeah, I get angry seeing that. So here’s the thing. If you’re being unkind, fighting with other Christians, your family, over politics, then you are being abusive. It’s not disagreeing with people that are different than you that is wrong.

[00:25:37] It’s the manner in which you disagree. As a Christian, we don’t get to say anything we want online because the person isn’t standing in front of us. We will answer for every idle word that we speak as a Christian. I hear people mentioning freedom of [00:26:00] speech while defending people like Alex Jones or Kanye West.

[00:26:06] and other horrible human beings. There are consequences for what you say, but just because you can say it doesn’t mean that you should. There is no such thing as freedom of speech in the Bible to say rotten things to people or about people. You have the freedom to do one thing, love God, love your neighbor, spread the gospel of Jesus.

[00:26:36] The book of James talks about taming your tongue, which is a fire. We as Christians are to have speech that glorifies God, sweet, kind words, truthful words, words full of grace. Let me read some of these for you. Do a search on [00:27:00] taming your tongue. Use a concordance online. Psalm 19:14, May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

[00:27:14] Proverbs 15, 4, A gentle tongue is a tree of life. But perverseness in it breaks the spirit. James 3. 10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be,

[00:27:33] Matthew 12, 33 37, either make the tree good and his fruit good, or else make the tree corrupt and his fruit corrupt, for the tree is known by his fruit. James 3. 8, But no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly [00:28:00] poison. Proverbs 10. 19, In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin, but he that refraineth his lips is wise.

[00:28:12] Titus 3. 2, To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle. Showing all meekness unto all men, James 1 26. If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue, but deceives his heart, this person’s religion is worthless. I’ll let you look up some of the rest of the verses. There are probably a hundred verses about the tongue and our words.

[00:28:47] We are commanded to love our neighbor and love God. To pray for our enemies. We forget that part, don’t we? Obey the government. Jesus, [00:29:00] the disciples, the early church, did not fight the government or overthrow the government. They spread the gospel. Jesus said that if you love him, people are going to hate you, just like they hated him.

[00:29:14] You will suffer persecution if you follow Jesus. Guaranteed. Some to a greater extent than others. There are many Christians in America that expect religious freedom and demand it. There are many Christians around the world who don’t have religious freedom at all. They worship in secret, they are persecuted, they go to jail for their faith, and they die for their faith.

[00:29:44] There wasn’t any such thing as religious freedom in the Bible, but God expects us to still follow him regardless. Yes, it’s a privilege to live in a country where you aren’t arrested or killed for your [00:30:00] faith, but it is not a right as a Christian.

[00:30:04] I remember there was all kinds of outrage that churches were not allowed to meet during the lockdown. Some churches defied the orders, okay, if you are led by God to do that, then you could be arrested for that. You should be willing to be arrested or fined for that. That could be perceived as persecution, or perceived as rebelling against government health mandates.

[00:30:36] But we have the internet and Zoom and technology that the disciples didn’t have. We can meet virtually. No one’s going to go to hell for not going to church during a lockdown. Please don’t send me emails about the COVID virus or the [00:31:00] vaccine. This is not about that. I’m not going to talk about the validity of whatever COVID is.

[00:31:07] and I see on social media, in my family, my friends, I’m Inaccuracies about the Bible, and doctrine, and sorry to say there are a lot of Christians out there that have never read through the Bible, ever, and it shows. Lots of Americans don’t know the basics of world history, either. I hear my Christian friends say that it has never been so bad in American history until now.

[00:31:34] The country’s losing its Christian values. They forget all the wars, the genocide, the slavery, segregation. Maybe America never had any Christian values. Now hear me out. You just don’t slap some Bible verses on a building and some founding documents and call it a Christian nation if Christians are committing atrocities.

[00:31:58] Just think about that for a [00:32:00] moment.

[00:32:00] United States is not Israel. The United States is not the promised land or God’s chosen nation. The church does not receive the same judgment or promises that Israel receives. The United States is not mentioned in Bible prophecy. That may surprise you by what you probably hear from some preachers.

[00:32:27] The gospel is available to all nations, tongues, people, all over the world, not just the United States.

[00:32:34] And for the love of God and everything holy, if you’re comparing Donald Trump to King David, please stop. stop using the words anointed, or blessed by God.

[00:32:49] And you say, Oh, God can use anyone just like he used King David. Okay, so we’ve done Bible lessons about David on this show. Let’s get a [00:33:00] few facts straight here. David was a shepherd boy. He was chosen by God to be King. By the prophet Samuel over his much older brothers.

[00:33:14] He was not voted in by a democracy. Yes, David did become king. He did a lot of horrible things. The difference between the presidential office or Trump is that David was punished for his sin. He suffered great consequences for what he has done. And David repented from his sin and received forgiveness.

[00:33:44] Trump has not. Biden has not, Kamala has not, and other politicians have not. David had a covenant with God that his royal line would bring descendants that would bring the [00:34:00] Messiah. God doesn’t condone the sins of his people. He requires repentance and a changed life. If you see a politician.

[00:34:13] Whose actions don’t line up with his words, or her words, you should pay attention. Filth coming out of somebody’s mouth one minute, and then making a grand speech in a church during election season, pay closer attention. Do not mistake my words for judgment, please. I am no man’s judge. I’m, uh, too busy worrying about my own sin.

[00:34:38] I don’t sit here and see into people’s hearts like God can, but we as Christians can be fruit inspectors. We can call out false teachers. False prophets and evil leaders. The Bible is very clear about that. The Christians are seeing the White House as their savior, arguing about which [00:35:00] candidate is more holy, making statements about how their candidate is to be canonized as a saint, and the other one as the Antichrist.

[00:35:10] Folks, they are both wicked. It’s different sides of the same dragon. Alright, so one is a so called Marxist and committed adultery. The other one is a rapist, adulterer, hangs out with pedophiles. You know, I’ll take the communists or the Marxists over a rapist or a pedophile, honestly. My point is they are both sinners.

[00:35:33] Presidents did some morally objectionable things.

[00:35:37] You don’t run for president if you don’t want power and control. That’s what it is. Politics is about power and control. It is not being done out of the kindness of their hearts. Please understand that.

[00:35:53] Whoever God permits to be in office, they’re in office. Yes, God has a plan, but we don’t [00:36:00] have as much control as we think, even with the voting process. God allows those kings, emperors, presidents to be in power for his purposes. Yes,

[00:36:11] God allows those kings, emperors, presidents to be in power for his purposes. Yes, it doesn’t mean he condones what they do. At times, God has used these evil leaders to execute judgment or punishment on his people, believers, in order to get them to repent.

[00:36:34] God could be judging the United States for their sins and turning away from God. Who knows? But the government is not the answer to your problems or the needs that you have. God is in control, and we need to trust God for our needs. This election, this presidency, is only going to last four years. Whatever happens, [00:37:00] we’ll deal with it.

[00:37:01] But our friends, our families, Our church, we are not honoring God by fighting with them about who we vote for. They will be with us long after the elections are over. They will be with us long after those people are gone. I’ve had family members call each other brainwashed, hanging up on each other, calling each other stupid morons because they didn’t agree on certain candidates.

[00:37:31] Family members who wanted a divorce. I was told that I had to vote for a certain candidate. This is not the 1920s. You can’t tell people how to vote, including women. I had to decide for the first time in my life whether to vote or not at all, because

[00:37:50] my conscience was divided on who could I possibly vote for in good conscience. I’m not going to tell you who I voted [00:38:00] for, but we had to go to family counseling to try and preserve relationships, learn how to talk to each other, learn how to agree to disagree. It’s been a very hard year and very stressful.

[00:38:16] I know it’s been stressful for you, too. After the election was over, I saw that there was gloating going on about the president elect. And horrible things were spoken, which is very unbecoming for a Christian.

[00:38:35] More than once I have wanted to delete my social media. More than once, probably five times. If it wasn’t for the business that I have, I probably would do that. We cannot be at war with each other. That is what the enemy wants. Christianity is being like Christ, who loved others, offered hope and salvation to [00:39:00] all. Tax collectors, samaritans, prostitutes, adulterers, Gentiles, sinners of all shapes and sizes, women, and other outcasts he loved and ministered to.

[00:39:17] Now I could go on and on, but I’m sure that you don’t want me to. Thank you for listening to my rant today. Send a respectful message to me if you disagree. My email is Diana at DSWMinistries. org. You can also connect with me on social media, DSW Ministries. It is all of my handles for all my social media.

[00:39:43] Our private Facebook group is the Wounds of the Faithful podcast. Private group. Tomorrow we have a new year ahead of us. We’ve got Kenny Sacht on the show tomorrow. Please come back for that. He is saving trafficked girls in the [00:40:00] Philippines. You do not want to miss his interview.

[00:40:02] I wish you a safe and happy new year. Oh, I did promise a song at the end, so I did do a cover on A Million Dreams. I’m going to include the song for you.

[00:40:15] I hope that you enjoy it. So Happy New Year. We’ll see you next time. Here is A Million Dreams.

[00:40:23] I close my eyes and I can see a world that’s waiting up for me that I call my own. Through the dark, through

[00:40:54] the door, through where no one’s been before. But [00:41:00] it feels like home. They can say, they can say it all sounds crazy. They can say, they can say I’ve lost my mind. I don’t care, I don’t care if they call me crazy. We can live in a world that we design. Cause every night I lie in bed, brightest colors fill my head, a million dreams are keeping me awake.

[00:41:42] I think of what the world would be, the vision of the one I see. A million dreams is all it’s gonna take. Or a million [00:42:00] dreams for the world we’re gonna make. There’s a

[00:42:11] house we can build. Every room inside is filled with things from far away. Special things I compile, each one there to make you smile. Diana Winkler

[00:42:33] Day they can say. They can say it all sounds crazy. They can say, they can say, we lost our mind.

[00:42:50] I don’t care. I don’t care if they call us crazy. Run away to a world that we design.[00:43:00][00:43:03] Cause every night I lie in bed. The brightest colors fill my head. A million dreams are keeping me awake. I think of what the world could be. A vision of A million dreams is all it’s gonna take. Oh a million dreams for the world we’re gonna make. However big, however small, Let me be part of it. Share your dreams with me.

[00:43:47] We may be

[00:43:57] wrong to see. To the [00:44:00] world we close our eyes to see. We close our eyes.

[00:44:12] Brightest colors fill my head, keeping me

[00:44:22] awake, I think of what the world, the vision of the one I see, a million dreams is all it’s gonna take, oh a million dreams for the one I’m gonna make. For the world we’re gonna [00:45:00] make.
