Dance is a form of expression with the body. Dance can be used for entertainment, exercise, artistic expression, and worship. We have a real treat for you on today’s podcast. Our guest is dancer, writer and storyteller Laura Padgett. We had an enjoyable time reminiscing about favorite dance performances, the challenges of dealing with our aging bodies, and healing from trauma. Laura’s delightful stories will keep you mesmerized as she tells us how she won a gold medal at The Highland Games! She also candidly shares her upbringing with an alcoholic parent, her struggle with her mother’s death, and forgiveness. We end with the option of using dance as a tool for healing and as a form of worship with our bodies. There was lots of laughter, joy, and even a little sass! Even if you don’t dance, you will love hearing Laura’s stories, so don’t miss it!
